Three questions the desk hears most

Portrait block days and product table sessions are best booked one to three weeks ahead, because the rig round is scheduled for the morning of the shoot. Darkroom print evenings can often be added at short notice since they start after the bays close. Even for a short booking, write to the desk first so the paper can be reserved and the bay taped before you arrive.

Yes, within reason. Our rig rounds are built around the studio strobes, but a client can bring a favorite modifier or a roll of paper as long as the desk knows in advance. Tell us the weight, the power draw and the hanger size when you book, and we will confirm whether the bay can carry it.

Load-in is through the side door at 5510 S Rice Ave, Houston - 77081-2131, United States (US). The desk sends a short access note with every confirmed slot, including the door code, the loading window and where to leave a vehicle. If your crew needs more than one loading window, ask when you book and we will hold the door for the longer time.
